Student Success Statement

“A CTR champion is a person who makes a great human out of himself.”

What I believe Noemi Trigueros meant in her quote “A CTR champion is a person who makes a great human out of himself.” Is that a person who makes great decisions and a great human of themselves will be a CTR champion because they chose the right by listening and choosing the right decision which made them a great human.

Pre-School Teacher

Duties and Responsibilities:

Preschool teachers are in charge of teaching and caring for children between the ages of 3-5, who have not attended kindergarten. Preschool teachers also provide structure and educational play for children to get ready for kindergarten, and teach them how to interact with other kids their age. Preschool teachers teach their lessons through songs, teach child development skills such as speech and language, identifying  colors, numbers, shapes and letters, fine and gross motor skills, and social skills. They then track children's progress and record and report that information to parents.

Salary:

$12.35 per hour

$25,700 annually

Education:

Require a high school diploma with early childhood education certification either as a Child Development Associate (CDA) or a Child Care Professional (CCP) Head Start teachers will need bachelor's degrees in childhood education or similar. Many states also require preschool teachers to be licensed, which includes immunization records, background checks and training.

Reflection:

I would like to be a preschool teacher because first I love little kids and babies so I believe it would be awesome to be one especially because I could see them grow and develop their education skills and be a part of that. And I believe it would be cool to teach the kids about the seasons, colors, and different things like that because I know learning that were cool. And being able to play with the kids and watching them play with them would be fun.

Chinese Oriental Medicine

Chinese (Oriental) Medicine

Duties and Responsibilities:

A board range of medicine practice sharing similar concepts which have been developed in China and are based on traditions more than 2,000 years old. Some of the forms include herbal medicine, acupuncture, massage, exercise, and dietary therapy

Salary:

$60,000

Education:

In general, a bachelor’s or associate’s degree or the equivalent, with 60 semester units from an accredited college or university is required for admission into an AOM program.

Reflection:

I wouldn’t like to work in Chinese (Oriental) Medicine because I wouldn’t like to work with herb medicine, I also wouldn’t like to work there because I would have to learn 2,000 years of Chinese history and that sounds too hard to learn.  

Cellular Therapy

Cellular Therapy

Duties and Responsibilities:

Is a therapy in which patients get injected with cellular material such as intact, or living cells.

Salary:

$31,000

Education:

It is required that you are in a three year training program which provides clinical and laboratory training in hematology, medical oncology, and bone marrow transplantation.

Reflection:

I wouldn’t like to become a cellular therapy because it doesn’t interest me but it does sound interesting because they help when patients whose bodies reject an organ after an organ transplant.

I believe that what Mark Victor Hansen meant in his quote “Goal setting is goal getting. Set and get” is that when you want to set a goal it’s the same thing as getting a goal so to set a goal you have to get one.

Obedience

“When Obedience becomes our, goal, it is no longer an irritation; instead of a stumbling block, it becomes a building block.”

James E. Faust

I believe that what James E. Faust meant in his quote “When obedience becomes our goal, it is no longer an irritation; instead of a stumbling block, it becomes a building block.” Was that when you learn to accept that obedience is your goal it will no longer be an irritation instead of it being something that blocks your path its something that helps you get up the path.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Cardiologists are physicians who have received additional training to prevent, diagnose and treat conditions of the cardiovascular system, which includes the heart and the body's blood vessels.

Salary:

$532,000 annually

Education:

Physicians must graduate from medical school, complete a residency and become board-certified in internal medicine, and then complete a fellowship in cardiology. Cardiologist residencies last up to three years, and fellowships are a minimum of three years, making up to six years of training after medical school.

Reflection:

I wouldn’t like to be a cardiologist because I believe that majority of people on earth have heart problems so it a lot of responsibilities. Also I wouldn’t like to be one because I don’t think it’s interesting.
