Kindness

Kindness

We recently watched a couple videos on acts of kindness but the one that called my attention the most was about a basketball team that had a boy who was disabled and on the last minute of the game the coach let him play even though he kept missing and getting the ball out of bounds the team would pass him the ball right when the game was about to end a kid from the other team called his name and game him the ball and he made it. This act of kindness  called my attention because nobody expected it, people would never have thought he would do that because maybe the other team  really wanted to win but he sacrificed winning to be kind.

“If it is not right do not do it; if it is not true do not say it.”
Marcus Aurelius

What I believe Marcus Aurelius meant in his quote “If it is not right do not do it; if it is not true do not say it.” Is that if something is wrong and you know it then don’t do it and if you know something isn’t true then don’t say it.

“Doing what is right, fair and honorable is more important than winning or losing.”
Chick Moorman
For example: Honesty or Victory

Reflection: I believe that this quote “Doing what is right, fair and honorable is more important than winning or losing.” By Chick Moorman is right because even if you win doing something dishonestly you don’t learn anything from it for example if someone copies someone’s homework they won’t learn for a test so they could fail the test.

“He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed.”
Proverbs 13:20

I believe that this is a smart and truthful quote because when you have good friends and hangout with them you have a good influence but when you have bad friends you get bad influences and end up being a failure.
