Evaluation

Evaluation

A.    What I liked most about this class was that we learned life lessons that we might need later on in life I also like that we were able to plan 100 life goals and got to read them every day for at least two minutes.
B.    Some suggestions for improving the class are
~      Use free time a little more often
C.    I believe that I did do the best I could in this class.
D.    Yes I am reading my 100+ life goals every day at least two minutes and I think of ways that will help my complete my goals faster and I put stars next to the ones that I’ve completed so far.
E.     Yes I am committed to being a CTR person because I realize that it will result in a great impact in both my life and those around me who could be affected if I CTW.

F.     I promise that next year I will not slack off in school and try my best in all my classes not just a couple.

Interdisciplinary Unit/ Showcase Night

Interdisciplinary Unit/ Showcase Night

For my interdisciplinary unit I had a good experience and for my showcase night I had a great experience. Because my team had a lack of communication and the want to the project. But at the end it turned out fine so it was a good experience. But for the showcase night it started off as a not really good experience because there was only two minutes left for the presentation and one of our group members was missing and she didn’t answer her phone so we were pretty frustrated. But she ended up getting there before we went into the class after that it was a great experience the panel was nice which made me feel better which helped a little with the nerves at the end they seemed to like it because they gave us a 4. One thing I didn’t enjoy was the fact that  the interdisciplinary project was done the week before finals so we couldn’t study.

“When I do good, I feel good. When I do bad, I feel bad.”
Abraham Lincoln

I believe that this quote by Abraham Lincoln is smart because its true when someone does something bad they feel bad although they don’t admit it. But when someone does something good they feel good about accomplishing something good. For example someone lies to their parents and they feel bad they won’t admit it or at least not right away. And if someone where to get an A on a test honestly they would feel really good about it.

You are in charge
“Take responsibility for your
Own body, mind, and
Spirit, for your own physical, mental,
And spiritual well-being.”
Mr. Haymore

Reflection: I agree with this quote because if you take responsibility for your body, mind, and spirit. It will have good consequences such as physical, mental, and spiritual well-being. For example when you are responsible with your body and exercise daily and eat healthy your are being responsible with your body which will reward with a physical well-being.

The Sting of the Scorpion

The Sting of the Scorpion

We recently saw a video of Patrick’s story and how he disobeyed his parent and got stung by a scorpion. I believe that this is a good example of disobedience because It shows how he regretted his choice to be lazy and disobey his parents after getting stung by a scorpion and suffering an excruciating pain.

“Always do right”
Mark Twain

I believe that what Mark Twain meant in his quote “Always do right” is that you always have to the right not just once in your whole life time and only once a week you should always be doing it.

“When you tell one lie, it leads to another”
Paul Hatch

I believe that this quote by Paul Hatch is true because when one person lies once they lie again and again to keep the first lie hidden for example when an individual in a relationship is cheating on their significant other they lie and say they aren’t that’s a lie and then when they get asked who were you talking to or where were you and they say a friend from work and at work that could be lie to cover up the first one.

The Three Questions
1.     Can people trust me to do what’s right?
2.     Am I committed to doing my very best?
3.     Do I treat people the way I want to be treated?
“If the answer to these questions are YES, there is no way you can fail.”
Lou Holtz
My answer for these would be sometimes people can trust me to do what’s right because I will do my best when it comes to doing what’s right for people but when it comes to doing what’s right for me people shouldn’t trust me with that. For the second question it would be a definite no because I know that I am not committed to my very best. And the last question would be a yes because every time I talk to somebody I try to be very friendly and fun and I am caring about my friends the same way I would like them to be towards me.

“Physical fitness is not only one of the most important keys to a healthy body, it is the basis of dynamic and creative intellectual activity. The relationship between the soundness of the body and the activities of the mind is subtle and complex. Much is not yet understood. But we do know what the Greeks knew: that intelligence and skill can only function at the peak of their capacity when the body is healthy and strong.”
President John F. Kennedy

What I believe the president meant in this quote is that physical fitness is not only one of the most important keys to a healthy body it is also the basis of dynamic and creative intellectual activity.
