I believe
that what David Bednar meant in his quote “Obedience is the central to becoming,
being, and remaining happy” is that obedience is what controls becoming, being
and remaining happy because if your obedient you can and will remain happy. For
example if you are obedient you will be happy with your results or privileges but
if you stop being obedient you wont be happy when your privileges or results
get minimized or taken away.
