I believe that what Boyd K. Packer meant in his quote “The
more obedient we are, the more freedom we have.” Is that the more you listen
and follow the rules the more the more freedom you will get in return. For example
some parents might not let their kids go out with their friends because they don’t
listen or follow the rules or the kid lies they aren’t going to trust them but
if the kid starts being honest, listens to the parents, and follows the rules they will have more freedom to go with their friends.
