Duties and
Responsibilities:
A board range of
medicine practice sharing similar concepts which have been developed in China and
are based on traditions more than 2,000 years old. Some of the forms include
herbal medicine, acupuncture, massage, exercise, and dietary therapy
Salary:
$60,000
Education:
In general, a bachelor’s
or associate’s degree or the equivalent, with 60 semester units from an accredited
college or university is required for admission into an AOM program.
Reflection:
I wouldn’t like to
work in Chinese (Oriental) Medicine because I wouldn’t like to work with herb
medicine, I also wouldn’t like to work there because I would have to learn
2,000 years of Chinese history and that sounds too hard to learn.
